Yoga is a versatile practice and can be adapted to the unique needs of the individual. It is a breath centered practice. All of our yoga service offerings integrate breath work and meditation to facilitate a relaxed and present state of mind.
Hatha Yoga (60 min) -
Creative sequences of yoga postures held in connection with natural breathing that range from gentle to challenging, depending on your needs and energy levels on any given day. Focus is on postural alignment, connection with the breath, core strength, balance, and increased flexibility.
Restorative Yoga (60 min) -
Deeply relaxing sequences of simple reclined postures, supported with comfortable props such as pillows, bolsters, and blankets. Each posture is held for long periods of time and is designed to restore a stressed body and mind to it's natural state of ease.
Therapeutic/Chair Yoga (60 min) -
Sequences of postures created with the intention of alleviating specific body pains, such as lower back pain, upper back pain, tight neck & shoulders, hip pain, sciatica, and other ailments. A chair can be used as a prop for chronic conditions that make getting down on the floor a challenge.
